Left of Center Creative Challenges #119 Bling Bling! with SLSlines

Today I'd like to share with you my first creation as a member of the Design Team over at Left of Center Creative Challenges Blog.  I'm delighted to join this wonderful challenge blog and can't wait to share my creations with you.

This week we are sponsored by the wonderful SLSlines Digital Stamps

For my card I used the gorgeous 'Goth Marie Antoinette' image from SLSlines Digital Stamps.  I love this image and had so much fun colouring her with my Letraset Tria and ProMarkers, Spectrum Noir Sparkle Glitter Pens and Uni Posca White Pen.

My background paper is leftover from my Halloween cards, love the little skulls in the pattern. I added a black ruffled edged ribbon to my background to mimic Marie Antoinettes Chocker, to which I added some black and white gingham ribbon, I used a piece of the gingham ribbon to create a hanger for my image.  So hopefully it looks like my image is a portrait hanging on a wall.

That's all from me for today, Thank you for visiting with, Have a wonderful weekend.
Bye for now

For my card I used Skater Sassy who was our Flashback Friday Freebie a couple of weeks ago. I coloured my image with Letraset Tria and ProMarkers with the addition of some Uni Posca White Pen for highlights.

I've teamed her up with papers from DCWV, Basic Grey and Co-Ordinations Cardstock.  I used a set of Quickutz Dies for my sentiment and skull, along with a EK Success border punch for the edging on my image matt.  To finish my card I added some brown pearls and some doodling borders.

Happy Birthday Dad

It was My Dad's 65th Birthday a few days ago, so I had great fun making him a card, which I thought i'd share with you all today.

It took me a while to find the perfect image, but i found it.  It's called 'Wiz' by Mo Manning and you can get hold of it in Mo's Digital Pencil Store.

Why is this image perfect?  Well it reminds me of My Dad!

Can you see the resemblance?  Obviously My Dad could do with growing his beard and moustache a little longers, but I definitely think he's got the 'Wiz' vibe going on.

I happy to say Dad loved his card, and we all had a wonderful celebration.

Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge #198 - Colour Challenge!

This week our sponsor is Bloobel Stamps
Talk about fun and quirky, these images are awesome!

Our theme is a Colour Challenge using Red, Grey and Turquoise!

For my ATC, I've used Moustache Ballerina. I've coloured my image with Letraset Flex and ProMarkers along with a little Uni Posca White Pen for highlights.

I took a white ATC base which I edged with Red and Grey. I then took some Purple Mirri Card and Turquoise Paper trimmed to size before punching a couple of holes though both layers, and then an additional couple of holes through just the Turquoise paper.  I coloured the White card that showed through the holes Grey as the white was a little stark.

I then Doodles some details onto the Turquoise Paper with Black, Red and Purple Fineliners.  I Fussy cut my image and ran it through my Xyron Sticker maker to get adhesive on all the little bits.

To finish my ATC I added some Stickers from a Love themed set by Simple Stories.

I love this Quirky image, and think my ATC has turned out pretty Quirky too!

That's all from me for now, Thanks for visiting with me today. Don't forget to hop over to the Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge Blog to check out the awesome creations from the rest of the Design Team.

Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge #197: Baby, It's Cold Outside

It's Wednesday and therefore time for another fun challenge over at the Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge blog.

This week we are sponsored by the wonderful Polkadoodles

Our theme this week is 'Baby It's Cold Outside', We want to see your ATCs inspired by Cold Weather, other than that you're only limited by your imagination!!

Here's my ATC;

For my ATC I used the wonderful 'Igloo' image from the Octavia Frosted Winter Collection by Polkadoodles.  My image took up most of my ATC, so I decided that to fit in a sentiment I would make an Easel ATC, which gave me the extra room for my sentiment.

My background paper comes from Sizzix's Little Sizzles - Watercolour paper pad. For my sentiment I used Alphabet and Word stickers from SN@P! Studios by Simple Stories.  My image is coloured with Letraset Tria and ProMarkers, with the addition of some Graph'it Shake it White Pen and Glossy Collage Pauge.  To embellish my ATC, and create a stopper for the easel I used some dew drops in pink, blue and clear.

That's all from me for today, don't forget to hop over to the Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge Blog to see the gorgeous creations from the rest of our very talented Design Team.

Happy Birthday, My Fair Lady

Today I'd like to share with you a card I've created with one of the recent Flashback Friday Freebie images from Sassy Studio Designs.  Unfortunately I was unwell when this freebie was available, but she's so beautiful I had to create something with her...
Isn't she beautiful, she's called 'My Fair Lady'.  I thought she went perfectly with these beautiful vintage floral paper from a Creata Paper Pad.  I coloured my image with Letraset Tria and ProMarkers with the additional of Prismacolor Verithin Pencil, Uni Posca White Pen and a little Green Spectrum Noir Glitter Pen.

Sassy Studio Designs is sponsoring this week's C.R.A.F.T Challenge and the theme is 'Make your own embellishment'.  I created a flower from fuchsia satin ribbon with a crystal brad centre and green organza ribbon bow to represent leaves.  I also pleated some green biased binding to create the pleated edge to which I added more organza ribbon.  Here's a close up of my ribbon flower,

To finish my card I die cut a 'Happy Birthday' sentiment and added some Green Spectrum Noir Glitter Pen.

That's all from me for today, Thank you for visiting with me

Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge #196 - Seeing Red

It's Wednesday and therefore time for another fun challenge over at the Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge blog.

This week we are sponsored by the wonderful Lemon Shortbread

Our theme this week is 'Seeing Red', Quite simply we'd like to see lots of the colour Red on your ATC, other than that you're only limited by your imagination!!

Here's my ATC;

I used the wonderful 'Goth Fairy Witch' image for my ATC.  I printed my image out larger than my ATC, and then cropped it down to the perfect size.

My image is coloured with Letraset Tria and ProMarkers with the addition of some Uni Posca White Pen, and Metallic Gold Sakura Pen.  I went for a limited palette for this image as I wanted to create a rather dark atmosphere, my Goth Fairy Witch is 'Seeing Red' cos she's not very happy, someone has definitely got on her bad side and made her Mad, just look at those eyes!

To embellish my image I added some Red Polka Dot Washi Tape and little metal embellishments.

I can't wait to see how you interpret our theme this week, head over to the Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge Blog to see the awesome creations from the rest of the Design Team, and share your creation with us.

Thanks for visiting with me today,
