Goodbye 2016 and Left of Center Creative Challenges

Good Evening All, Tonight I'd like to share with you my last post of 2016 and my last post for the Left of Center Creative Challenge Blog. I'm not very sad to see the end of 2016, but I am sad to see the end of the Left of Center Creative Challenge Blog, I've had a wonderful time on the DT there and want to say a massive thanks to all my fellow DT members, sponsors and blog visitors for making it such a fun challenge blog.

Here's my creation;
I've used the awesome 'Zodiac Leo' image from Bloobel Stamps, She's coloured with Letraset Promarkers.  I've teamed her up with papers from Papermania's Deck the Halls paper pack, and alphabet stickers from Simple Stories.  My sentiment, well that just sums up 2016!

We lost a lot of truly talented people this year, but we must remember that the world is a better place for the wonderful contributions they made to their individual fields and be grateful that they shared their talents with us all.  Here's hoping 2017 is a year full of health, happiness and prosperity for Everyone in the world.

Thank you for visting with me this year, and I look forward to sharing lots more creative projects with you in 2017
Peace and Love to you all
Hugs

It's Christmas Time at Oddball Art Stamps

It's nearly Christmas and it's time for a new challenge over at the Oddball Art Stamps Blog, so very appropriately our theme for this month is 'Christmas Time'

Here's my creation;
I used the gorgeous 'Eddie the Elf' image #261 for my card, and had great fun paper piecing his outfit.

I printed Eddie out 3 times, once onto my white paper and then onto two different patterned papers.  I trimmed the two patterned papers down so I just had Eddie on it, before running them through my Xyron machine.  This made fussy cutting a little easier, as you've the extra backing on the image for strength, and when you come to layer the papers on your image you don't have to mess around with glue and tiny bits of paper.

Eddies hair, skin and shoes are coloured with Spectrum Noir Illustrator Pens. I used a Red fine liner to colour the candy cane, along with White Gel pen for highlights.

I used an 8 x 8 inch white card blank for my  card base, to which I added some of the patterned papers I'd used on my image, along with some Red Polka Dot Washi Tape, Red and Green Sequins and diecut word stickers from Simple Stories.

Want to see more cards inspired by our 'Anything Goes' theme, then hop over to the Oddball Art Stamps Blog and check out the gorgeous creations from the rest of our design team.  You'll all find instructions on how to join in our challenge and win some awesome Oddball Art Stamps images.

DICC #007 - Some Odd Girl

Today I'd like to share with you my latest creation for the Desert Island Crafts Challenge Blog, we just gone live with our latest challenge, sponsored by the awesome Some Odd Girl.

Here's the Itinerary for our challenge,

Here's my Card/Calender;
For my project I used the gorgeous 'Pretty Unicorn Digital Stamp' along with 'Rainbow Fairy Digital Stamp'.  Both of my images were coloured with Letraset Promarkers, white gel pen and some Spectrum Noir Clear Glitter Pen for added sparkle.

For my background I used some Lilac Card Stock from my stash, along with Papermania French Lavender patterned paper.  I used a selection of dies to create my scene, cutting them all from glitter card stock.

I ran my die cuts and images through my Xyron machine to add adhesive to the back of them.  I then fussy cut my images before layering everything onto an 8 x 8 inch card blank.

As a finishing touch I added a Calender tab for next year to which i'd added a leftover piece of glitter card stock.

I had so much fun with this project, and love how it turned out.  I hope i've inspired you to play along with us over at the Desert Island Crafts Challenge Blog.

That's all from me for today, Thank you for visiting with me,
Bye for now
